Cupcake

Our sweet little cupcake went for her 2 month check up today. She is very healthy... to say the least! She was 15.4 lbs (off the charts!) and 24 1/2 inches (100%) - Go Similac!!!! She starting to be smiley and I tried to catch one but only got the end...still precious!

On Saturday, my sweet football loving boy got to go see the Pirates - live!!! He was beside himself for days!!! Thanks Granddaddy!!!! Granddaddy brushed up on his coaching skills.

Something New

Last night we pulled out the Bumbo - thanks again Janet!!! She holds herself up so well we thought we'd give it a try! The first response was not so good then she discovered her feet... or maybe the black and white socks! After a few minutes of sitting with brother and sister she liked it! Yeah!

What a fun day and its not over!!! Daddy and I got time in her classroom - he dressed and acted as if he were Johnny Appleseed for the class ( and did an awesome job!) and mommy did a craft... little brother and sister got traded off in the parking lot! No photos of Johnny Appleseed because the teacher was recording it for us to see. Then lunch at Amante Pizza and a restful afternoon at home... life is good!

2 months

Our sweet baby is two months old today. I can't imagine our family without her. The transition has been so smooth... especially now that mommy is getting decent sleep!!! Here are a few of her favorites things. Her two month stats will be in after her check up on Tuesday. Bath time is our best time of the day. This could be because it follows about an hour of fussy, fussy time! She loves this cool tub. It has a sling that hangs her over the water - wonderful!! And, yes, her tongue comes out as soon as I begin to run the water...she like to lick the water. And my, look at that tummy!!

She has the best big sister ever! She is helpful and sweet to her. It is hard to believe she was once that same size and looked just like that!

Each month on the 24th I take a photo in the highchair to watch her grow! I missed a few of brother's and will try not to this time! The new highchair is cool too... see third children do get new things!!!

She has discovered her tongue and mouth... the hands are the first thing to go there but I am sure very soon she will be able to pick things up to "chew" on.

Just like big sister... the swing is a favorite for her. She had (still has!!) trouble napping in her bed, so we got a swing for her room. She loves to swing and also loves to look out windows. SO one night daddy did a wonderful thing by letting her swing while looking out of the window... mommy didn't even mind the canopy thrown on the floor!!!

As many of you know the boy is the sweetest ever!! He is an awesome big brother... even when he puts his hands on his ears and leaves the room! He adores her and she adores him. When she cries it sounds like she is saying "Aaaa, Aaaa, Aaaa," and he tells us she is calling him! Very cute!

We have been blessed beyond measure! Our family is complete... her that daddy... complete :)!

WIRELESS!!!

WOW! Get used to these faces because you will see them more often... or new photos anyway! Grandma hooked us up with wireless for my birthday. Loading a photo went from 20 minutes to less that one!!! Yea, birthdays are the best!

Festival

On Saturday, we had lunch at one of our favorite places, Amante Pizza, and took in a local church's festival. We have never done anything like this and they loved it. It was perfectly sized for us and not too crowded in the middle of the day... maybe Disney is next? She spotted this first but did it last! She said " That was fun and worth the tickets!"

He picked the boats over the big slide... good choice my little man!

After seeing other children with their face painted... she just had to do that too!

Festival Part 2

Guess who slept through it all? Sweet, sweet baby face!

He went fishing twice.

Look there first roller coaster! They have asked about riding one because Scooby does in one movie... glad this one was their size!! Or should I say mommy and daddy's size for them!

This was their official first park ride. They loved it!

Catching Up

Ok, so its been awhile... a little busy here lately! Here is a glimpse of our exciting weekend adventures. Little sis and mommy joined them on one Labor Day to the museum but forgot he camera... too busy getting them all 3 in matching outfits for pictures to remember the camera... one day I'll be able to think again - maybe!!!!

Football practice at Louisburg College... this is a new favorite for sports. The players are so very kind to the children and there's not a crowd or parking issues!

As you can see all is good here. Baby is great, she loves kindergarten and his preschool start has been wonderful.

My birthday is coming up and there's a possibility there's wireless coming so I can post more pictures and more often!?!?!

First Day of Preschool 2009

Monday marks a day we have been waiting for... the first day of preschool 2009. It was a bit strange just taking one. We have had lots of those "different" moments lately but all good! He had a great day and God sent him the sweetest teachers. They seem to be just perfect for my sweet boy!
