Our Favorite Adventure Location
Today's adventure with daddy was to their favorite destination (Museum of Life and Science in Durham) plus they met a friend there! Much fun was had by all...even mommy on what will be my last Saturday alone for awhile. I have gotten very spoiled the last several months! However, I am looking forward to having the energy to go... all 5 of us!

Swim Meets # 3 & # 4
Last week at swim meet #3 mommy forgot the camera. She did an awesome job swimming while he cheered so loud and proud for his big sis!
This week I remembered the camera - yeah! But things seemed to go so quickly I only got a few shots...

Sugar
I am not sure these pictures due the excitement justice but yesterday she caught a butterfly. She was amazed that she got it on her finger and in her bug cage. We discovered it had an injured wing and wouldn't survive so we let her keep it. She thought it would be good practice since she's going to be a vet when she grows up! Her name is Sugar and so far she's still alive!

Dino Trail
On Saturday, daddy and son went to the members only preview to the Dinosaur Trail at the museum... his pick of places to go while she had a birthday party. They were up and dressed (I had to put that in there because daddy did the dressing :)!) by 9:00 and didn't return home until almost 4:00!! Lots of fun all day with daddy!
Playing music with his cool shades...
Waiting for the train ride...

Stopping to take a picture in front of almost every dinosaur so he could show sister how cool they were!
While the boys were on an adventure so were the girls. We did a little school shopping before the party. We had to go to 3 stores to find all the things on the list from her school... but as a teacher I appreciate knowing exactly what is wanted! She has another month but mommy wanted to make sure I went with her alone and soon (hopefully very soon!) I won't be up for that!

Swim Meet #2
Yesterday was swim meet #2 of the season. It was her first meet swimming a main event ( the event are either heats (not points awarded for the team) or main events (points awarded according to finishing place) ). She finished 4th is both the backstroke and breaststroke. She finished 3rd in the freestyle but it was a heat. She was sooo proud as were we! Her backstroke was beautiful... she had really worked on this and its hard!
So proud and serious to get on the block!

The children (not Mommy) had a morning at the hair salon... now mommy really needs one too! He needs regular cuts for that thick hair and she said Monday that she wanted her hair off of her neck. I jumped on this because brushing her beautiful curls causes lots of friction! She had about 4 to 5 inches off and then the curls bounced and it looks like much more... but she is adorable!!! I added his photo too just because!
