Our Helper!!!

Lil sis is truly a great helper.  She loves to please and cleans up very well...for a two year old!!

However, this week I caught her taking it a little too far!!!

Yes, I got the camera out because I didn't see the harn in just one more lick!!!

She was very proud and momma band her from gogurts!!!

Johnny Appleseed Returns!!

 

Daddy had the chance to revise his role as Johnny Appleseed for brother's class.

He did such a good job preparing and teaching the children how Johnny Appleseed spread apples seads as well as the Gospel.  How cool is that!?!

Brother was super excited to have daddy do this for him....not sure he remember when daddy did it for big sis but he knew about it!  He neatly packed his prompts and notes ways for three more years!!

After his presentation to ALL of the K classed he stayed for brother's apple snack!

My Guys bring be so much joy and love and happiness and  pride!!

Big sis got to help grandma and Anne Marie with a special dinner party this week.

She was excited to dress up and help!

I had her pose and that got the others interested...

so they posed as well!!

Love this....she's looking up to brother!!!

Chapel

Big sis' class had a role in Chapel today lil sis and I picked brother up from his class and went to watch.  Brother was very attentive!

Lil sis fell asleep about 2 miles from school and had caught her second wind!!

But she thought it was fun!

September 25 is one of the best days of the year!

It is especially nice when its on a weekend!

Yep, momma celebrated 29 again today!!!!

All she really wanted was a nice photo of all three darlings

( well to be honest this photo was to be for a purse she reeeeaaallly wants for Christmas!!!)

Did.Not.Happen!

No dishes or cleaning was another must...so we had a nice lunch out after church.

 

Mmmm...all 3 ate fish tacos and liked them!!!

I am very thankful for another year with my family and am excited to see what the next one brings!!

Picnic with Friends

Brother's class had a family picnic this afternoon.  His teacher does this every year to allow the families sweet fellowship time.  She and her husband do the hot dogs and we do the sides. The day started off wet and messy but the skies cleared just in time for a perfect picnic setting.

Brother did so well!  It is fun to watch him be competitive!

Daddy Time!

Daddy does such an amazing job of sending individual time with the children...which they just love!!

Today lil sis wanted to play in the sand...it was mealtime and even though it wasn't a great time, he stopped what he was doing in the garage and sat with her! 

This is just one of the many, many things I love about him!!!

 

"What's this?"...I can just hear her sweet little voice asking...just before "go away mommy!"

Our Little Princess!

Field Trip

Today daddy got to take big sis on a field trip with her second grade class.

They visited a local fire station and had lunch at the mall.

Mommy was very proud of him for taking the camera!!!

New Bike!

Well the wait is over for big sis....

she has a new bike!  She learned so quickly and has asked every single day to ride. 
How awesome is that...especially from the girl that really likes "couch" time!!!

She was super proud to show us how she rode it.

Now brother is very curious about this bike riding...he is just so much more careful!

Preschool Pictures

Today was little sis' first preschool picture day. 

She seemed excited but wanted to take blankie, pinky and "papa" with her...umm NO!!

Silly girl was being a tease!!

But finally "hid" them from me?

If there's anything cuter than a baby in a diaper...its a little girl in a white sweater!!

Backyard Visitors

We had a few back yard visitors today that reminded me that I never posted this:

Back in July we have the yard trimmed and a couple of tree removed.  This was a fasicnating process that involve a crane and "spiderman" swinging around with a chainsaw!!!

The children were entertained well and apparently the stump left some goodies for these visitors!

It is not unusual to see deer in our backyard but this was close for the afternoon hours.
