Real Time Baseball

Today brother started "real big time baseball" and he was super excited!

Well he was excited about the baseball not the camera!

He enjoyed T-ball last fall but wanted to play "real big time baseball" so we found a local program that will pitch hit at 5. He did really well his first practice. He hit the first pitch that came to him! We are excited to see him develop and grow this spring!
The girls hung out and played while watching brother.

I'll try to control my urge to post too many photos!!!

There's NO Place Like Home

Big sis got to dress up as her favorite storybook character for school today. How happy was I that she picked Dorothy?!? Grandma, Aunt Anne Marie, Brother, Lil Sis and I went to see the children at snack time.

She was not impressed with us being there... but we enjoyed seeing her witht her friends.

Oh my she has always been my independent child! The random hugs just couldn't be held back! Her teacher was Dorothy too!!
Beautiful Girl!!

Theme Gathering

Today lil sis and I got to visit brother's preschool and see what he's been up too.

Here his teacher is reading the What I Will Do When I Grow Up... his was "a ECU Pirate football player!! He was sharing his favorite piece of work. Look close and see that the person he made also has Troy Polamalu hair!!!
Lil sis just loves to come to preschool and brother's teachers are so patient with her!
Isn't this precious!
But so you're not tricked into thinking she sat and read the entire time...of course not!!!

Brother has had an amazing year and we are so thankful for his teachers!!!

Twenty Months

Twenty months is soo close to TWO...not sure I'm ready for my baby to be TWO!!
She is a complete joy and we can't remember the days without her!
She is happy 99% of the time and loves her family so much.
Random hugs and kisses are the best!!! She is wonderful but oh so busy all day long until she crashes in her crib.
The warm weather gave her lots of time outside and she loves it. She discovered the popsicles were in the small freezer too...did I mention how smart she is? Total genius!!!

Whether at home

or at a park she enjoys fresh air, climbing, sliding and sand!!!

She continues to be a very good eater...quality and quanity!!!

And oh so very sweet!
She recently noticed where I stash the extra Pinkies and blankets. She will asked for the others if I try just one...genius!!!

She also loves shoes and dresses...yeah!!!
While we were going through big sis' old clothes to see what she can wear this summer she found this dress with a matching doll dress. She insisted on putting them on right away. Her babies are her favorite inside playmates. She is so good to them. The get dressed, go for strolls, on shopping trips (complete with purses!), get diaper changes and recently potty breaks! It is awesome to watch her love on them too!! I think she feels the love we give her!!!

She has also rediscovered the dance floor on the screen porch!
She has some pretty good moves too!!

And bless her heart she spend a lot of time here in her carseat!
She is the best toddler ever about this. While we are out and about she is content in her car seat...now as soon as she's out she's moving but while here she rarely complains!
I could just hold her all day!!!
We love lil sis and enjoy her personality so much!

Louisburg Baseball

The boys took a little road trip to one of their favorite places today to watch baseball.
Brother is getting excited to play "real big time baseball" himself next week!

He found a friend to throw ball with.
He just watches the player sort of in awe...sweet boy!

As they were leaving, he asked to look back for "just one more minute!"
One day he will be out there with littles looking up to him!!

Gymboree

As little sis enters her last week of Gymboree, I caught a glimpse of the FUN she has there. It is sort of sad closing this chapter. All three have taken classes here with the same two sweet ladies. I have meet lifelong friends here as well! However, spring and summer are just too busy to continue her weekly classes. As soon as we enter the parking lot she gets excited...then runs right in!

This might be her favorite thing there. These boards make a very loud noise as you walk or stomp across them!

These tubes are pretty high on her list as well. She almost always gets in one first thing!

When I asked her to smile for mommy she quickly said NO and kept going. But I did get this beautiful shot...she just looks too big to be my sweet baby!

She is so good at climbing and going through the obstacles. This is the best part for me because the equipment is so age appropriate and the set up changes every other week.

This orange teeter tooter/ rocker was big sis' top item here. I had to pull her off of it many times. Lil sis likes it but moves around much better on her own :)!

She can jump really well!

Slides have always been a hit!

DST has really messed her up this week so about half through the class she wanted her paci and Pinky...so I let her have them so she'd stay happy. She was precious "showing" Pinky around. She got to slide...

sing songs....

and enjoy the bubbles!

We are so thankful for the experiences but it is time to move ahead.

I will look back at Gymboree with such fond memories with all 3 of my darlings!

First birthdays, first jumps, first steps...happy thoughts!

Weekend FUN!

Weekends are super fun but oh so busy these days!
Here is a glimpse of this past weekend for us. Big sis had Friday off so we had lunch at the mall and walked around a bit.
Saturday took us is different directions. The boys went to Louisburg for a double header while the girls went to a birthday party at Monkey Joe's.

Sunday was a little more calm. Daddy took the children after church for a picnic so I could be alone (such wonderful, mentally healthy time for a mommy!) then big sis and I went to another party.

She is petting some strange animal and loving it!
Notice her new style. She loves her new hat! We are just proud of her!

Ahhh the sunshine just makes us happy!!!
