Swim Meet #1

The swim season is in full swing. We had to miss the first meet for vacation but she has not missed a practice and just loves to swim! He is picking so much by watching her practice! Look at those cool ribbons... Good Job Sweetie!

I just love that little pose she does before she jumps in.

Look at that form. She has picked up real good form this year and when she swims the different styles, you can really tell which one she is doing by her form... impressive for five!

June Vacation

This year's vacation was full of "firsts."
It was our first official vacation in June ( not quite as hot as August).
Our first vacation not at Cherry Grove/Little River since 1997 ( nice but not as private!).
First time staying oceanfront with children (nice!)
The children slept in a room together for the first time (it was their idea, went well and timed perfectly!).
My first time at urgent care on vacation (turned out to be a virus but my OB nurse was 3 hours away and being careful!)
He actually enjoyed the ocean for the first time!

The balcony was a favorite hang out. Especially for mom and dad once the darlings went to sleep.

She was thrilled with the waterslide again... it was next door but thanks to granddad Foster's connections we were able to "visit."

We took a day trip to see Granny and granddaddy. He got to drive the boat!

Fun family time and now we are home for the stretch until sister comes!

A Trip to the Hospital

This morning we took a planned trip to the hospital for the Sibling Class and Tour. They really seemed to take it all in. It was neat for me too because I hadn't been since he was born!

Seeing the real babies was cool for them. Now they have an idea of how small sister will be.

They got to change a doll's diaper and practice swaddling one. We never let her hold him... this time it may be a bit more difficult to keep them away from the baby.

They also go to make a craft... she was very pleased!

Summer Days

We are enjoying our neighborhood pool so much again this summer. In addition to the daily swim team practices for her, we have enjoyed a few mornings with friends. One send the cute shot of me and my boy... I very rarely get in photos because I am taking them... so I thought I'd share!

Sweet Treat

We are soo excited about the upcoming birth of baby number 3. We praying for her health as well as her siblings... and us during this time of transition. I have been blessed with so many friends and social groups in Raleigh. It is awesome how they are joining in on the celebrating with us... I worried number 3 would just be sort of forgotten. Last night a second group of friends gathered at a restaurant to fellowship and shower us with gifts. Look at these amazing cupcakes! I was looking forward to just having cake but surprisingly hestitated (only a few seconds!) before eating one! Thanks to all of you out there supporting us!

Something New in the House

On Sunday we worked as a family to put the crib together! The children and daddy used tools while mommy supervised. It was a fun experience for all and mommy is soo glad to have the crib set up! It was sweet remembering making the crib for the first time almost 6 years ago! How sweet it is to have a crib in the house!

First Lost Tooth

The tooth is out! Tonight she was wiggling her loose tooth and pushed a bit too hard. While she was trying to stop the bleeding and looking abit concerned... out it came. She was beside herself. And incase you were wondering the glasses were from a party on Saturday and they were helping her to her best Hannah Montana impression!
