One Month Old

Our sweet baby girl is one month (and one day) old! WOW! What a blessing she has been to our family. Big brother and sister continue to love her and dote on her. It is amazing how well they have adjusted. She is such a good baby... which helps tremendously. She went for her one month check up today...
She weighed 12.5 pounds... off the charts!
She was 22 1/4 inches... shorter than birth record but believe me she is longer! Her little toes stick out of her gowns. 90%
Her head was in the 90% as well.
We are so thankful for each and everyday we have together on this earth and live each day knowing there is a better life waiting for us with Him!!!

I Love Mommy

Just like the shirt says... she loves mommy... and daddy... and big sister... and big brother!
She continues to be a good baby. We still have days/nights mixed up but its a little better... or maybe I'm used to the lack of night sleep... so very thankful for Mountain Dew!!!
She looks and acts like her sister more and more each day. There's the look in her eye when I kiss her, the way she holds her fists while drinking her bottle or the way she is already trying to talk to me.
She also favors her big brother... the way she fights sleep, holds her thumb between her fingers or the wakeful hours at night!!
We are so blessed to have her in our family!

B is for Bob

As some of you know, our children are Bob Marley fans. While at the mall last week he saw some Bob Marley items in the window... tie dye mostly... of Flashbacks. Well since so much attention was on her Kindergarten shopping... he got a new t-shirt!

B is for Bob CD = $11. 99

B is for Bob t-shirt = $ 16.99

Squeal out of my son's mouth as he changed in the mall = Priceless!!!

The other picuture shows what he did in the middle of the night (he often wakes up and is done with sleeping... it only lasts 30 to 40 minutes but can be hard on us!)... he took the markers (FYI- daddy let these go in the room!) and wrote an A on his leg. When I asked him why he said "A is for ME*". How do you argue with that?!?
* We try not to put their names on the blog.

First Day of Kindergarten!!

Our first day was great... minus traffic for carpool... I guess we'll get used to that! Our morning started early... 6:30... so she could eat her breakfast on the couch and watch a little TV. Mommy made one of her favorite breakfast treats... monkey bread.
She was so ready and only a little nerves showed through the smile!
The first thing she said once she got in the van was... "I had a fun day at Kindergarten!"
My pray is for the happiness and confindence to continue!

NRCA Kindergartener!!!

Look out NRCA... here we come!!!! Walking down the hall with daddy... we have to let her go in alone on Monday. That is best but will be hard to see her leave the car and go in knowing I can't see here until the end of the school day.

Checking out the map and photos of the school. It is amazing. She was most like the library, pool and playground!
She found a special treat in her cubby... that earned the teacher extra credit!!!

How small she seems to go to such a large place. We are blessed to have found the perfect school to nuture her heart and brain!

Railhawks Soccer

On Saturday, the older children and daddy met some friends at a Raleigh Railhawks soccer game. They played before and during the game! They all had a blast. He especially had fun actually following the game... a guy thing I guess!
Monkey Joes set ups some inflatables for the children - smart!

Giving Swoops five is always a priority!

Look at that face... just plain happy!!!

Week 2

Week 2 was just as nice!!! Daddy had to go back to work but granny and grandma were able to come help out... we didn't rest as much as we should have but we did have fun!!! Little sister had her first trip to the mall, a weight check where she was told she was perfect - we knew that!!, her first trip to the pool -of course no water!!! and her first Saturday adventure. Big sis is such a helper!!

Fun in the sun soaking up some vitaminD!!!
A precious gift straight from the hands of God!
