Special Game

As mentioned in an earlier post, daddy and brother have been noticed by the voice of the Mudcats for their special bonding time at games. They were invite up to watch some of the game from the radio broadcast booth this week. Big sis thought she might join the fun.
Brother go his very own autographed baseball...he can read almost all the names too!

Just posing for daddy!

Big sis joined brother in running the bases following the game!
I think she might go back a few more Sundays after that!

After a super fun weekend brother was very tired...this is how I found him when I peaked in before I went to bed. How sweet is that! I think he likes his new baseball!

Swim Party and Trophies!!

We packed up and headed out in the rain to celebrate the ending to a wonderful swim season. For has hot as it was all season tonight was very pleasant...especially after the rain stopped! The girls trying to stay dry while enjoying BBQ and chicken.
Ahhh...the rain stopped!

Can you find our swimmers on the cake!

The coaches getting ready. They did an awesome job making a paper plate awards for each child and passing out the trophies! Oh how they had been waiting for their trophies!

How sweet!

Yea for brother!

Admiring his very own, real trophy! He went from not wanting his face wet in May to swimming main events! Awesome job buddy!

And big sis' turn! She also had a fantastic year and will move up to the 7-8's next year!

Big sis got the "You Rock - MVP" medal or the 6 under girls...oh what a surprise!!
She was very proud too!

Quietly admiring her hardware!

We could not be more proud of our Dolphins!

Sports Camp

Brother got to attend his very first camp this past week. He did a Microsports camp at a local YMCA. Lucky for him it was inside all week! He was super excited!
On Friday, they had a family picnic. He had his whole family come to see what his camp was all about! We all had a great time sharing this with him.

His huddle was the "catchers"...which he thought was cool.
Each day they wore a special color that represented a character trait.

His award was for "Super Dribbler".
(side note: the young man handing him the award was a former student of mommy's!)

He was proud of his award and necklace with the color beads to represent the character traits!

Lil sis had a blast running around the gym...not even phased by the balls going all around her!

Fun with Daddy!

Daddy took a few days off this week to enjoy his family. The children each got daddy time and here is what they did. Daddy and brother went to Chapel Hill. They toured the Charlie Justice Hall of Honor - UNC Football Center. He really enjoyed seeing the Tarheel football items.

I just love this one. Daddy believes he his thinking about his future as a Tar Heel football player.

When they arrive at the baseball stadium brother was very excited to see the coach and a few players on the field. See him on the edge of his seat? He is absorbing everything he sees!!

Big Sis picked the Museum of Life and Science..she loves this place but also had tooth money burning a hole in her pocket! She has admired these stones so many times...now she has bag!

She got to chose all activities and had a blast!

She spent about an hour building this tower. She was very proud and had many admirers. Interesting fact: she has always loved to build with blocks. I think she would like legos better than brother!

Each one enjoyed their daddy time and were so happy to back together once home!

Birthday Fun

And the celebrating continued...but for a friend this time!
One of Adam's sweet preschool friends had a birthday party at one of our favorite parks.
It was so much fun for all. Lil sis joined the action too! Look how sweet...that was my first thought...then I realized she was sharing puffs!

She knew she was a big girl playing with the other children. She held her own too!

Love that toothless grin!

Sweet Boy!

It was pretty hot but the icee pops were a hit for all!

As were the cupcakes!

SO tired and sweet!
