Veggie Tales LIVE

Brother, Daddy and Grandma got to see Veggie Tales Live: Sing Yourself Silly today. (Big sis decided she'd rather stay in school!) What a treat for brother!
He wanted to bypass the "shopping" go straight to the seats.

Being silly with daddy while waiting for the show to begin.

Look at all our veggie friends...pretty cool!

Dancing in the aisle was fun too!

After the show, brother saw this grassy patch and asked to play football. I'm pretty sure he didn't have to twist daddy's arm!

Clemmon State Forest

Big sis' class had a wonderful learning experience today... a trip to Clemmons State Forest. It was really neat and even I learned a bit! These first pictures show the children learning to and making paper...really neat!

She was selected to be a tree and thankfully not cut down to save the others!

Lil sis and brother spent most of the morning at home with daddy but joined us for the last bit of the morning. They got to enjoy the fresh, cool air and picnic lunch.

This is his footbal face...still the most handsome one around!

Playful Girl!

Picnic! We tried to stay away and let big sis enjoy her friends. I didn't even "bother" her with the camera. It is fun to watch her develop such a sense of independence!
The ride home was very quiet...fun was had by all!

Noah's Ark

Today Brother's class had a special visit from Noah's Ark Ministries. They brought the farm to preschool and it was great! He asked me to come...so even though it was lil sis' prime nap time, I was there! I am a little softie for my sweet boy! We arrived early to find his class on the playground. Lil sis enjoyed a little playtime too!
Look at that handsome line leader!

Waiting so patiently with his class to "visit" the animals!

Lil sis was not as patient...can you believe how brave she is?!?!

I added this for fun...what a hairdo!

AHHH... she got the goat!

She was all tuckered out when brother got his turn.

He saw the cross on the donkey's back and got to sit on him.

He was careful but did pet each animal.

He is back in class with his sweet Kayleigh...I like to say I'll save these pictures for their wedding slideshow!!

And the excitement came... pony rides!

Oh what fun was had today! They did a super job! They also do birthday parties and other functions! www.noahsark-ministries.com.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

YEA!! All three happy and looking! Isn't that little pointed finger the cutest?!?
Precious!

I took the above pictures before church just incase lil sis slept through pumpkin picking again this year. However, she awoke to see them! It was an adventure...the small farm we've gone to the last couple of years wasn't open this year. We HAD to get pumpkins today so we stopped by a very commerical farm and atleast got a couple of cute pumpkins for the porch.
The Happy Fall Y'all display will have to wait until another weekend.

Our Three Punkins

Lil sis thought they were cool!

Yes, it took the big wagon to carry our pumpkin...only because it was fun.

What a beautiful helper brother had!

Big sis and brother being silly with the decoration. These are extra funny when you consider we don't celebrate Halloween!

Until next trip...

Football FUN!

Daddy and brother got to take in a nice fall day enjoying some Louisburg football. What a great day to be outside spending time together and watching the Hurricanes roll to a 62-19 victory! My favorite football player!

I just adore this one of him watching the players.

This year there was a mascot...brother is no longer afraid of these!

Played a little ball with some new friends.

And playing on the field...so neat how the fans are able to do this!
