Thankful Lil Sis

Lil sis' class had a Thanksgiving Party on a day she doesn't come to preschool so we got to go together.  I am not sure she knew exactly what was going on.  She asked about her lunchbox and bag a few times on the way to the church.  But once she got there she was super excited!

Yes, one of her babies attended with her!

After lunch, the children decorated yummy turkey cookies.
She ate every single bite!

I enjoyed being with my girl.

How cute...while I was helping clean up she decided she'd sneak a few more nuggets!
Words can't describe how thankful we are for this girl!!

The Zoo in the Fall

I think the best time to visit the NC Zoo is the fall.  The weather is perfect and the backgroud is fantastic!  Make the miles of walking go by without thought!

It was nice to be away for just one day...silly monkeys love being togeher!

Hey, that guy is on brother's shirt!

This happened after brother told daddy he couldn't fit in there with them...never say that to daddy!

Beautiful!

Every time big sis rides this she chooses the polar bears...missed seeing the real ones today!

Lil sis finally got her turn and she picked on that didn't move!

Lil sis has a few books about monkeys that she is crazy about...so this was the moment she'd been waiting for...MONKEYS!!!  There were close to last and all day she kept asking for them!

I love these monkeys!

Fun was had by all on our one day getaway!!!!

Pirates!

Daddy and brother were able to join granddaddy and Uncle Lewis for the Pirates football game today.  Brother was so excited to get back to Greenville!!

Daddy and brother stay for every single minute because they enjoy the game no matter what and brother gets to interact with the players after the game  Daddy says they are alwasy so kind and patient with brother!

This one is special because they two guy's grandmas have a special bond.
Brother was glad to try the helmet when offered...he said it was really heavy!

Just wondering what impression my boy will leave on a young, starry eyed boy one day!

Moms vs Boys

During the season a mom vs. boys game was schedule but go rained out.
His coach was kind enough not to forget and scheduled it for the night after the last official game.
I think brother was as excited about this as any game this season!
Mommy was nervous...but will admitt to not doing too bad!

Look at these stickers..."Mom's Going 'down arrow' ".
This was our joke for a few days. On the way to the game we taught lil sis to say "Go Moms" instead of "Go Mets".  She was conflicted but it was all in the name of FUN!

Look...mommy's up to bat.  Yes, she hit it all three times!!!!

After game handshake.  The boys won ( I won't say it was fair though!)

After game pizza

and trophy time!!

Good Job Little Slugger!

Last Game for Fall

Fall baseball is over..for the season and maybe for good since he can play tackle football next fall!
We had a great season.  He really likes baseball!

Playing under the lights was impressive!

The assistant coach is too!

Yes, cheerbear made an appearance!  She was in that phase and honestly I knew she'd be warmer in this than regular clothes!  Building self-esteem one day at a time!

Maybe big sis was feeling left out?

The most handsome player I know!!

Last run of the season...look at that stride!

While leaving ( mommy left most games early to keep the sisters content!) I stopped and got the picture of the field...pretty cool setting for a five year old to play in!

We are so thankful for his spirit, drive, ability and availability of sports in his life.
God has big things planned for our guy!
