It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Tree number one kept its white lights... mommy insisted!
Tree number two is in the game room. Complete with color lights, Dora, Elmo and totally decorated by the children.

Trees three and four are small ones in their rooms. No worries -No lights!

Needless to say the children are getting very excited. We have four trees this year and something extra special in the front yard... hopefully you will get to see this in the photo for our cards. I say hopefully because I am going to attempt to take it this weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving Day Two

Friday we traveled to Little Washington to have a day after Thanksgiving oyster roast with the Jones side of the family. It was much colder... but we again enjoyed fellowship, fun and family. The children are getting this cousin thing and again kept up with the older children. They had a blast!!
She finally got to jump in a pile of leaves like in all of the stories she reads!
YUMMY! More turkey cookies!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day One

We traveled to Fayetteville Thursday to visit with the Foster Family. It was a day full of fellowship, fun and of course food! Our children enjoyed playing with their big cousins... apparent by their flushed checks! They also thought it was great they could eat at the "big kid" table!
On our way out of town (notice the PJ's!) our cousin David took us to the fire station... they were impressed he was a real fireman!

Adam is already picking out his suit!

Go Tarheels!

Yesterday we had the amazing opportunity to take the children to the Dean Smith Center to see a Tarheel basketball game! It was awesome!
Her favorite part was the cheerleaders and mascot!
He enjoyed the band the most! The Tarheels won and we had such a great time!

Pullen Park

We had a great day at Pullen Park today! The children had a blast doing everything together!
The "huge" slide was first... notice the jackets weren't on yet... dad's choice!
This is NOT mommy's favorite part... but they love it!
The train was great. We enjoyed watching it go around (especially under the bridge) almost as much as riding it!
Look carefully and you can see both children. It was his first boat driving experience. He was very careful and did well! It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed every minute!

Magical Talking Throne

Our Little Princess has her own throne now!
It welcomes her, plays musics, has lights and secret compartments!
I like this too!

Big Boy Bed

LOOK at my Big Boy Bed... well sort of... its my crib converted to a toddler bed. I am very proud of it! "Georgie" likes it too! Granddaddy do you like my Bulldog Football shirt? I thought of you when mommy bought it for me!
My big sister showed me how to get comfortable!
My other sister kind of likes it too!
I am going to like the freedom... but will mommy and daddy?
