First Day of Preschool 2008

We were so excited to start a new year of preschool.

As you can see from his face... all of the people in the hall got him a bit worried. He was fine when he saw his teacher and friends! She didn't skip a beat on her last first day of preschool! WOW!

Our Newest Gymnast

After watching sister for a whole year, today was his first day of gymnastics. It is a mommy & me classes... she got to sit inside the gym and watch. He opened the door (which he has asked to do many, many times!) and ran like a wild man! He did a great job!

The balance beam was his personal favorite. He thought the foam pit was all fun until he tried to climb out!!
He has not gotten the whole jumping thing yet... but after a few tries today both feet actually left the ground together!!He had the same teacher as she did last year, so she was able to come sit with him at the end! She is proud!

Between their classes we had a fun pizza lunch at one of our favorite spots!

Life Is Good

This is what I walked into on my bed mid-morning. They chose this position to watch a movie together. I left the room to fix juice and cereal cups. About half way through the movie he looked at me with his awesome smile and said "Life is Good". I added "and God is Great." That kind of sums up the wonderful Labor Day weekend the Foster's had!!!

Real Big Boy Bed

My children are my greatest treasure and there is nothing better than making them happy. Do you think he's happy? I think so!!

"I go night-night now!"

It was even more exciting with "Queen" covers.

Big Sister had fun getting on his bed...she has often shared her space!

More Mudcats

After leaving the game early last weekend, she was a bit sad so...Daddy took her back to see the game on Sunday.

Look at that pink bat... and great smile!

Mudcats Baseball

We finally made it to a Mudcats game. The children enjoyed it so much last summer we just knew we would go a lot this year...but haven't The weather was perfect for being outside, the children were so excited, we put on out t-shirts, visited the gift shop for surprises, all was GREAT until the fireworks during the National Anthem... he does NOT do loud noises at all!!! That was the end of his night. He was very scared - shaking and begging to go home. Daddy took him for a walk and all he would do (without fussing) is walk in the gift shop. Our smart boy realized that was inside and the noise was outside! OH well, she got to watch a bit and throw a few balls. It was a new adventure for us!
