Outside in the Rain

The weather has been so wishy washy lately....so today when it was time for swim practice I couldn't decide what to do. SO I took a deep breath and we got ready to go. Once outside I realized it was raining ...just very lightly. I just couldn't imagine sitting in it. Instead of going back inside we decided to play in the rain. Oh the fun we had! Basketball in the rain.

She just loves to stand and "walk" everywhere! She can stand alone

for brief periods. Her vocabulary is increasing daily...mama,

ball, bye-bye, ba ba (aka daddy), and bubba.

She loves the bath and pool. She still is not big on

toys but loves cups, keys, paper or any non-toy item! She lights

up when big sis or brother come in the room!

We love our lil sis so very much!

Since the weather couldn't decide what it wanted to do today...daddy took the children to the museum for fun inside or outside! They had so much fun!

Incase you were wondering, mommy was at a VBS meeting at church!

Air Show 2010

On Saturday, daddy and the older two drove to Cherry Point to join

Granddad Foster for the Air Show. They were very excited and had a blast.

They have both been playing with there toy Blue Angels a lot today!!

Lil sis and mommy decided that sounded like too much and stayed home!

Big Day for Lil Sis!!

Its so hard to believe the we are just shy of the seven year mark since we found out God was blessing us with the tremendous gift of parenthood! What a ride...fun and exhausting at the same time. Wouldn't trade one minute...that's easier to say now that I get a full nights sleep!

Today lil sis is in the spotlight! She moved out of her infant carrier (that new, bigger one was awesome! but it was time...). She was so cute checking her new ride out.
Waving and saying "hhhiiii!" She is very social...

and happy! And pretty darn cute too!


Another milestone was reached this morning...she took her first step! She has preferred standing to sitting for awhile now and lately has gotten good at pushing things to get around. I have also noticed her letting go and having pretty good balance. So this morning I stood her up and let go...to my amazement she stayed there for a good 15 seconds!

Then I put this green bookmark (of big sis' that she LOVES!) out for her and she stepped towards me! I predict she will be walking very soon!

Yes, she stopped to wave. So glad daddy was here to see!

Then came the crash! She continued on and off on her own all morning! Oh my, is this good or not? Verdict is still out!

First Day of the 2010 Swim Season!

The 2010 swim team season has begun!

Day one was rained out - Day 2 was C.O.L.D!

Both big sis and brother are swimming this year.

They were so excited to get started!
