Our Twinns

It would be impossible to show the children with all of the wonderful gifts they got for Christmas from family and friends - thanks! However, there is one I have to share. My parents continued a tradition that began with my brothers girls... purchasing a My Twinn doll for them. It began with photos taken in September. These photos were sent to the company and a doll was created to look like our daughter! Enjoy! Matching curls and glasses...
even matching PJ's. Now we have Double Trouble or I mean Double Sweetness!

Merry Christmas!!

Our Christmas morning began with the reading of The Christmas Story. Our traditions are built solely on Christmas is a time to celebrate our dear Savior's birth. The children have really done a great job understanding the true meaning of all the celebrations! They waited patiently (as I did for her to wake up... 9:00!) and then we began the present opening. They each recieved three gifts, a representation of the gifts the wisemen brought to baby Jesus. The excitement was amazing... I finally came to terms with the fact that I will not be able to open a present by myself for a very long time! SO here are some of the over 100 shots I took of them enjoying the beautiful NC Christmas day we had!
He is into motorcycles and now had his own!
All she asked for was a princess bike... then wasn't sure she wanted to ride it! But once she got on she was a natural. All afternoon she told us "thank you for that pretty bike."
Our morning muffins turned into an outside, mid-morning snack. Look how serious he was!
Our gymnast loved this gift... especially when daddy added just enough mulch for her to get on without the stool.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a very blessed New Year! WOW 2008!

The Party - Final Birthday Celebration!

We had the official birthday party at Marbles Children's Musuem in downtown today. It was fun... busy due to a North Pole event... but FUN! The children stayed in the downstairs play area. They enjoyed a fire truck, boat, ambulance, threater stage, train table, grocery store, stables, face painting, art table, and so much more... all child sized of course! Lucky for us we avoided the water and sand today!! Big sister is again teaching him things... this time how to put a straw in a juice box.
Our party room was right by the big pirate ship and made a great place to wait for our friends to come!
He especially enjoyed the ambulance because he could turn the light on and off all by himself!
She took a few minutes to make a special creation... that is still there "drying"... oops!!
The "Happy Family" had a great time with friends celebrating the sweetest boy God ever made!

Our son's second birthday -Part 1

We began his second birthday celebration one day early with cupcakes at preschool. They had a Christmas party planned and sang to him at the end! Most of the shots included other children so this is all for now! Stay tuned... much more to come this weekend!

Christmas Cards

Well another set of Christmas cards has been delivered. Here is some insight on the process. I wanted the children in front of our outside nativity so we went at night to enhance the photo.
This is one I really liked... but its hard to see her face.
This makes me laugh every time I think of it! It is disrepectful but priceless. Why? He is saying "Giddy up Joseph, Giddy up!"
Here was the last shot... he was telling me "all done, all done!"
Then the one I sent (hopefully you have it!) was so sweet and captured the season so well. Now I am wondering why I didn't put that here too!?!

PJ Day at Preschool

Today was PJ day at preschool. The children were very excited... she would live in hers if I allowed and he was following her lead! We enjoyed muffins before school.
YUMMY!!
Can you say "CHEESE!"
