Thanksgiving 2009

OK, First, I thought I had the order figured out but these are not in order... one day I'll get it!
Following the Jones family tradition, the day after Thanksgiving we went to Granny and Granddaddy's house for an oyster roast. Two years in a row we have had such a great turn out its almost like a family reunion! Lil sis got to meet so many cousins and great aunts and uncles. Chillin with granddaddy

Big sis and granny making a bear in their PJs...totally her idea
Sisters

He got an early birthday present...Go Pirates!

She got to hold puppies that were 3 days old... sadly their mommy passed away the night before.

On Thanksgiving day, we meet with the Foster's in Fayetteville... the children were super excited to play.

Someone (or this year everyone!) always has goodies for the children...rotten!

The trampoline is a hit each year!

She got a touch spoiled because she can't sit up and we pretty much held for four days! Mommy paid for that Sunday night!

Home Sweet Home!!!

4 Months Old

Our little sweetness is 4 months old. She had a great check up. She was off of the charts in all areas. She was 17 lbs. 11.5 oz and 26 1/2 inches long! Here are a few of her activities... bath is still her favorite time of the day... I seriously think she recognized the word bath already!!!
We dusted off the exersaucer... best when both hands fit in mouth!

Chillin' in her car...

Hangin' on the couch... she LOVES to sit up and is so happy like this!

She uses her hands so very well... which comes in handy while teething! She's our first baby to make it to 4 months without teeth!!!

One Busy Week!

Wow what fun we had this week! Here is a glimpse at our lives his week... maybe its going to just be this way!?!
Father and son enjoyed a fun day of football on Sunday.

Lil sis stilll just loves to eat her cereal with a spoon! What a messy eater!!

We made pizzas at Amante's on Monday evening. Fun, fun with grandma but was reminded why we don't go our much on weeknights with a baby!

Big sis' class had a Thankgiving celebration at one family's church near the school. What a beautiful day to be reminded of all the things we have to be thankful for! He kept right up with her classmates doing games, bingo and crafts!

By Friday night mom was pooped and pulled out the "buffet" for dinner... not so healthy but fun!

As happy as she is cute!!!

Our little artist has found her a "desk" in her room and has been making all kinds of things. This morning is was turkeys from her hand for her cousins on Thanksgiving... she is sooo excited!

I am not sure who dressed them... mommy was sleeping in!!
I think if you need down vests and hats... its too cold for shorts!!!!

NC Zoo in the Fall

We have been trying and trying to get back to the zoo.... well today didn't look too good as the rain fell all week... but it turned out to be a very nice day. It wasn't cold or hot - just right!! The animals were lively and highly visible. Not sure what he is thinking... silly!

My Guys!
Just Posing

Climbing on the stautes was a hit!

Beautiful Girl

They love to ride...not mommy!

It was a quiet day. Only one middle school group around. We kept bumping into one small group and they helped us out with this shot. I have been more aware of getting entire family shots after her teacher asked for one and I didn't have one!

He was so excited about hte Buffalo.

My worldly treasures glowing before me!!!

The best view around!!

Notice her new shirt... she spit up on her turtle neck as soon as we got there and I thought that would feel gross and cold. It was easier to get a new one then go to the car and change an entire outfit! Yes, big sis is pouting in the background!

They remembered the playground and pretty much had it to themselves.

Sweetness!!

The polar bears are mommy's favorite... apparently not little sis'.
