Keeping Busy

We have been busy, busy getting back into the swing of things. Here are a few random photos of our latest activities... Little Miss Independent

Lil sis continues to LOVE her real food... feeding and cleaning up are quite the work out for mommy!


Big sis started back to gymnastics after a few months off... she is so excited!


OK, since I have photos of him pushing a pink stroller, I thought I'd get one of her with a sword. These two spend more time together and just adore each other!! So affectionate!!

Her reading has really taken off... as I knew it would but she had to wait until Kindergarten!

Whenever brother can't be found he's in his room playing football with his "guys" or in the gameroom wathcing his football tape and playing with his "guys". Gotta love a vivid imagination. So smart... just like Daddy!

Moving On

Today I started sorting through the baby stuff...so sad to see some of it go but love the idea of someone else using it :)!!! I pulled this activity gym out today and felt bad that I hadn't let lil sis use it. So we assembled it and let her play. Big brother and Big sis joined the fun! Yipee!
Look what I can do... pull the hanging toys down and roll over!

Yea, I think we've out grown these floor gyms!!!! (She did this on her own very carefully using her feet to turn!)

OK, OK... it so was. She is the messy eater ever!!!!! But so sweet I could eat her up!!!

Lately, she has not wanted to play on her normal spots... bouncey seat, floor gym... we can't decide if being sick spoiled her or she just likes our cozy arms! So this morning out came the walker... he was ALL over the kitchen and happy as pie! I think we might be in for it once she can move alone!!

Pullen Aquatic Center

A fun winter pass time is Pullen Park Aquatic Center. We packed up and met some friends there this morning... mommy hasn't quite tried it alone with all 3 so since daddy was home today it was perfect! She didn't get in but kept a close eye on the water... I guess she was thinking huge bath tub!

I suggested she practice a stroke ( she had gotten so good by August and really hasn't practiced much since) and she did the back stroke a whole lane! WOW!

She finally wore the googles we had made for her eyes last summer...

but wasn't wearing them while tossing the new dive sticks with brother. Her first black eye. I think it hurt mommy and daddy almost as much as her!

USS North Carolina

Our annual trip to the Battleship did not occur this summer because we didn't go to Cherry Grove... so we went Saturday. Our annual pose + one :)!
She wanted to enjoy being on deck but it was chilly and windy! I forgot her winter had so the sun hat had to do!

They really enjoyed touring the inside. It had been over 2 years since she went and he had never gone. Mommy was very happy to wait with lil sis on shore!!!

This one is a hoot because we don't allow guns!
