A Feast at Preschool

Today brother's preshool had a feast for the four year old classes. Oh what fun we had together!
Firs was performance time. Precious, precious little voice singing, praying and reciting thanks!

Notice how "shy/embarassed" his little "girlfriend" in the green is! So cute!

Yummy!

Yummy!

Almost caught a smile...almost!

Oh my, how thankful we are for our wonderful son!

Giving Thanks Celebration

Big sis's class had a nice Giving Thanks Celebration today. I was so honored to be a part of this day. I read a old Thanksgiving Favorite of mine and lead a craft activity. It was lots of fun to be with first graders again! First, they had lunch. It was special for them to be in the Student Life Center.
Daddy was a big help too!

As shy as she seems to be, I was surprised to have her stand with me while I read.

Her first crossed-legged turkey!

The class had a few poems and songs to share with the parents. It is always heart warming to hear children giving thanks to God.

Look how focused! Big sis is one of many people I am thankful for. She is growing up so fast and I could not be more proud of the young lady she is becoming. Her heart is always in the right place!

Camp Kanata

Daddy and big sis spent the day at Camp Kanata with her Y Princess tribe (and thousands of other princessed and dads!). They had such a picture perfect day and she just loved every minute of it. I will try to recount parts of it. Taking in the fresh air and scenery...hard to believe all of this is so close!
Coloring a banner with their tribe name "Butterflies" (her idea which won the vote!)

Playing some games.

Hanging on the big tree.

Finding the perfect walking stick on the 2 mile hike (glad its a daddy thing :)!)

Yes, that's meat on her plate! I guess a two mile hike is all it took!

Daddy and Princess

Her tribe with the Head Chief.

The second year tribes made this torch path down to a bon fire by the lake for the first year tribes to walk through. Look how brave she is...again, glad daddy was there!

Daddy and big sis had a wonderful day together!
Many more adventures to come!
