Baseball Time

Daddy and brother took in their first NCAA Baseball Tournament game today in Chapel Hill.

The Tar Heels beat James Madison 14-0.

Soaking up every minute!!
It is so neat to see brother revive daddy's interest in sports.
They both have minds that work well with numbers so the stats just flow at times!

He even got his very own NCAA Baseball!!!

(From a Tar Heel support staffer that spotted them posing!)

Last Spring Baseball Game!

Today was brother's last game of the spring baseball season.

He has had such a great experience playing!

He just loves the game and knows so much about it.

When he is not batting or on the field, he watches every play!

New hardware for the shelf!

Eating cake with his teammates while wearing his batting gloves!

He and daddy stuck around while after the game to practice ...this is how he looked when he got home. Covered in clay dust...covered!

Who's Missing?

2011 Swim Team

(minus one cute little brother who was at a baseball game)

Big sis was proud to be there!

After the team picture, we joined our friends for an ice cream party!

We are so thankful for our neighborhood

First Grade Awards

Today was big sis' first awards ceremony. She was excited to see her friends one last time and get an award too! We are so proud of her accomplishments this year!

Daddy had a special gift for her...

a beautiful cross necklace with a diamond accent.

We love you so very much sweet girl!

We had "fun" waiting for her class to be recognized! Of course they were last!

Silly Lil Sis!

Here is big sis recieving her award for A/B Honor Roll

(We are so proud of this but for the record...her one B was a 92!)

Ms. Mull was the perfect teacher for big sis.

She learned so much and grew as a Christian!

Before leaving brother got a peek in the class he will enter in just 10 short weeks!

We are so very thankful for a Christian learning environment for our children. We gain great comfort knowing they are prayed for and taught strong values while reaching high academic standards!

Weekend FUN!!

A long weekend is always welcome around here.

We took the opportunity to welcome summer!

It started with a pool party at our neighbor's house.

Then came Mudcats baseball on Saturday night with just the guys.

On Sunday, big sis decided to join the fun!

Running the bases is the highlight of Sunday's game!

Before heading out Monday daddy found a new friend in the backyard...

Lil sis was really impressed with this while the others wanted to keep it.

It was so nice to spend four whole days doing as we pleased!

Happy Summer!!!

A Special Day

Preschool Graduation

"train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old,

he will not depart from it" Proverbs 22:6

Parents, grandparents and siblings gathered to watch graduation at preschool this morning.
Leading up to this day I was not sure exactly how I'd feel but as it turns out I was fine...until the sweet children marched in. Lucky for me I had a friend on the front row to capture these fine pictures!

I think our sweet boy was a bit nervous.

When they called his name, I teared up with pride not sadness.

I am so glad God gave him to us. He is so awesome.

He was annouced as future football player and most dependable!

What more can a mom and dad ask for?!?!

Lil sis had a grand time "watching" for brother.

Appears the "graduation dress" wasn't so bad after all since he stayed in it for pictures!

My Guys

We enjoyed the nice reception afterward too!

Love...pure and sweet!

These are the pictures brother picked for baby & now.

I am not eager for time to pass any faster but can not wait to see what God has in store for this little guy!!
